The legendary 1989 handheld console! Prior to this little beauty Nintendo basically had the Game & Watch series. I had the Donkey Kong 2 & Zelda games & they were good but severely limited. When the Game Boy came along, not only did it revolutionise handheld gaming, it introduced us to the legendary Tetris! For that alone it deserves a place in the hall of fame. For the screen graphics I’ve used the pixel art straight from the original Game Boy game for an authentic retro look. I’ve recreated the Game Boy itself from scratch as a vector illustration.
