Fitted to the case are two oversized chronograph pushers designed to protrude like the original alongside a non-screw down crown. It’s water resistance of 30 metres is ensured by the screw down case back decorated with an aeroplane and the famous Longines within it. Hidden behind the case back of this Longines Avigation watch is the L688 automatic movement, a Swiss made mechanical calibre which provides column wheel chronograph function with central 60 seconds hand, 30 minutes counter at 3 o’ clock and 12 hours counter at 6 o’ clock alongside standard hour, minute, small seconds and a power reserve of 66 hours.
