Limited Edition of 232 Pieces.. Bremont Watch Armed Forces Dambuster Limited Edition DAMBUSTER-L-S.. Designed in honour of the 80th anniversary of the Lancaster Bomber first seeing service in 1942, and the subsequent Dambusters Raid in 1943, British watch manufacturer Bremont have launched this limited edition Bremont Dambuster watch. Taking cues from 1940’s military watches, the design features a rare Monopusher movement, the Calibre BE-51AE, an automatic winding chronometer-certified calibre with a 48 hour power reserve. The chronograph complication is beautifully displayed on a black military dial detailed with aviator-style hands, matching black subsidiary dials and Bremont’s iconic ‘51’ vintage lume. The movement is well protected within a 100 metre water resistant stainless steel case with a 42mm diameter.. Turning the Bremont Dambuster Limited Edition and several tributes to the bomber can be seen including an engraving of the Avro Lancaster and the heraldic badge of the 617 squadron. The decoration also features each of the call signs of the 8 Lancaster Bombers that never returned and the beams of the Lancaster’s low level Aldis lights shining below the aircraft. The case back also reveals its limited edition status out of 232 pieces, cleverly marking the speed of which the Lancaster had to fly to successfully land the bomb. With each sale of the Bremont Armed Forces Dambuster watch, you’ll receive a pair of silver Avro Lancaster Cufflinks incorporating aluminium from the original airframe of Lancaster B.VII NX611 ‘Just Jane’..
