Paintball Helmet

Paintball is a sport in which players shoot each other with coloured dye balls in an attempt to eliminate their opponents. Paintballs are fired from a device known as a paintball gun. Matches are played against teams in paintball competitions played as a competitive sport with tournaments and leagues.

How To Play Paintball

Depending on the nature of the match, paintball is usually played in a scattered field with natural or artificial obstacles in a marked terrain. Players use these obstacles to hide from their opponents as they strive to achieve the objective of the match. The objectives include defending their positions or capturing their opponent’s flag.

Some games include defeating their opponents until only one team or player remains. The paintball guns are usually powered by carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen (N2) or compressed air. They have cylinders that are refillable or interchangeable. The guns fire the paintballs which in turn mark your opponents. The guns can be automatic or even semi-automatic.

Paintball Safety

When it comes to safety, players are required to have a paintball helmet and goggles specifically designed for paintball to protect their eyes. Due to the high risk of severe injury, a protective facemask is mandatory nearly everywhere and should be worn regardless. There are referees on the field who enforce safety and game rules.
